Early Release /Late Arrival Request
The Early Release/Late Arrival form is available for seniors only. It allows students to request late arrival and/or early release from school. Students are expected to explore with colleges / universities how a reduced schedule will impact admissions. Also, students will not be permitted to reduce their schedule to the exact number of credits they need. No student will be allowed to take less than two classes per day. Finally, all requests for a reduced schedule will be reviewed at the end of the first semester for all students who fail a course in the fall. If you have questions, please talk with your counselor. |
Mid Year Graduation / Early Graduation Request
This form can be used by seniors to request midyear graduation (December or January) for the 2019-2020 school year. This form is also used by rising juniors to request early graduation (after only three years of high school in June 2020) for the 2019-2020 school year. Students who plan request either midyear graduation or early graduation should plan to meet with their counselor. |
Dual Enrollment
This form is used when a current student enrolls at a course with another organization. This may include enrolling in a class at Wake Technical Community College, a course with NC Virtual Public School (NCVPS), etc. See your counselor with questions. |
Request for Excused Absences for Educational Reasons
For an excused absence for educational reasons, the intent of the experience should have been educational from the outset and comparable to that which the student would have experienced in school. Family trips and vacations that were not designed, initially, to be educational, will not be excused. Signing this form documents that this absence is for valid educational purposes |
Senior Brag Sheet for Letters of Recommendation
A brag sheet is very similar to a student resume, it highlights your accomplishments, key experiences, leadership skills and employment throughout your high school career. Counselors and teachers can use your brag sheet to write the best letter of recommendation for your college applications. |
